This week's prayer visualization
We’ll focus on Myanmar (Burma) in support of peace efforts by the United Nations. The Chinese foreign minister has now met with the U.N. to put pressure on military leaders to reduce tensions in this small Asian country as monks and others push for reforms. We'll again apply our efforts to bring peace and progress to this region. Also, tensions between Turkey and Kurdish militants in Iraq are threatening that region with increased warfare, so we'll focus our visualization for peace on this conflict as well as on the Iraq war in general, where overall deaths continue to decrease. We'll continue our vigil for local solutions to conflicts around the world, and will spend time, as usual, on the needs of our group participants themselves, especially those facing grief, illness, and a need for clarity about life direction. Our twice-monthly gatherings have been making a powerful difference, both in people's individual lives and the world at large. Many of you have written us saying that the energy generated from this network of spiritually-minded participants is "indescribable," and we look forward to continuing this healing circle of focused prayer. Like all prayer experience devoted to helping others, many participants have felt the results in their own bodies and received guidance for their own lives.
